Nevermind the Bullocks Tour Day 3

|

IMG_5069.jpgAhhh beautiful London. Isn't it the best when you wake up in another country, and you look out the window and get psyched to be there! Today was one of those days.

Went to bed last night early, must be some good steak, man. Strolling down stairs the guys must have felt the same way, because everyone was already packedup and playing skate in the circular driveway. The guys had their HUGE BAGS, filled with god knows what... probably a pair of shoes for everyday.

IMG_5000.jpgToday we were heading back to London *(where the crew originally started at). But FIRST we wanted to skate these awesome banks that was about 4 blocks away from the hotel. They had a bunch of skatestoppers in the bank, which made it harder to skate because you had to thread and slide between each break.

Couple knarly tricks went down, I would totally tell you but then why would you read the issue of the The Skateboard Mag this article is soon to be in, plus Matt Price might be mad.

Crew was hungry, and we tried to be in and out at the British version of Pizza Hut. We found out things are different then the American version. We sat for at least an hour before diving into our veggie, or meat lovers pizza, which most had to get a take away box to eat it in the van.

IMG_5092.jpgWith a full belly, Decenzo wanted to skate the spots he found earlier. Again with such a talented crew, it seems to be no problem skating the spots we randomly rushup on.

This is where the sightseeing really took place. We took some side roads and went to see the infamous Stonehenge, which looks to me like a bunch of blocks stacked in funny formations. BUT, what it really was (since I wikipedia'd it right now) IMG_5114.jpg"One of the most famous prehistoric sites in the world, Stonehenge is composed of earthworks surrounding a circular setting of large standing stones. Archaeologists had believed that the iconic stone monument was erected around 2500 BC" Basically right around the same time as the construction of the pyramids. Pretty cool huh, and we got to see it, about 100 feet from behind a fence. Wow, the places we go.

IMG_5156.jpgAfter that we RUSHED right home because Chris Nieratko had a book signing at a local bar for the recent VICE published book of his Skinema That was a delight, listening to his stories which are contained in his book. I believe thats a special skill, knowing how to tell a story.

Beers and bed, till tomorrow.
