RB: You were featured in an east coast independent video called Viscous Cycle, what was your involvement in that video, also music and skaters?
ZB: I had alot of footage saved up and really wanted to make a video with all my friends. So RB (Umali) and I got together and made it happen. We picked all the music people wanted to skate to and that was that.

RB: To my knowledge, and I could be wrong, but you were the first to do "pro" influenced/supported independent video's, which after came PRod's "Forecast" and Jereme Rogers Neighborhood, was this before or after TWS Rookie of Year?
ZB: I'm gonna have to go ahead and say Forrest Kirby did it first with "F.O.R.E and Friends". Then PJ Ladd came out with "PJ Ladd's Wonderful Horrible Life." It came out before Transworld's "Rookie of the Year."

RB: Oh yeah, those videos were great. In my opinion you had an incredible part, with two songs, amazing skating, do you think this had a part in you getting TWS Rookie of the Year?
ZB: For sure, I'd hope.

RB: What was your staple shoe growing up, the one shoe that you skated and bought all the time before you got free ones.
ZB: Ummm ... I never really ran the same kicks too often. I liked the Koston 2 alot. Oh yeah and the Sal 23's.

RB: Now you have a pro shoe on DVS called Zered One. was their inspiration behind that shoe? Anything from shoes in the past?
ZB: Maybe a little bit, but not to much.

RB: New video in the works with Zoo York and tricks in DVS "Dudes, Dudes Dudes". Do you ever plan on taking a break, or do you already have future plans for Dr. Z.
ZB: No break for me, gotta keep it moving. Vicious Sequel maybe?
