Waking up the next morning was almost like I never went to sleep. After 36 hours of being up: 12 hour flight, 3 hour train ride, skating all day, 4 hour drive from Leeds to Bristol, dinner, then drinking till 4, I would say that I was ready for sleep (SEE DAY 1). I laid my head down, apparently passed out, then almost immediately opened my eyes to a wakeup call. UGGG...
I got into the elevator, and Jereme Rogers is already in.
"I feel really good today, and ready to skate" he comments.
"Oh?" I question.
"Well yeah, every night since I have been here, I have slept only 2 hours, last night I slept like 10." Jereme retorts.
It looks like I am not the only one who is short on sleep.
We all headed downstairs to the van and loaded up for a packed day of skateboarding. We had planned to head to Danny Wainwright's 50-50 skate shop/boutique in Bristol, but somehow the GPS got us lost.
This is a damn computer, how can it mistake location. But its malfunction was our gain, because we actually found the most awesome spot ever by accident. Rough as shit, but a very simple transition. After a couple of pretty incredible tricks and surprising attacking plants (see video), we made our way to the original destination of 50-50. My first stop was actually the cafe about a block up, for sandwiches and a raspberry smoothly, I couldn't wait to eat. The rest of the guys had loaded up into a another coffee shop up the road and after about 1 hour of eating, chatting and well.. kinda nothing, we were on our way to the second stop.
