Thrasher Magazine's Skater of the Year party!

Matt Williams (Stereo Film Staffer) and I ventured up to San Francisco for the famous Skater of the Year party! Rumor's has it that years of SOTY's are around, skating, and having a blast. The trip up was well.. boring. I mean its a 6 hour drive. What are you supposed to do? I did buy some beef jerky, and that did keep Matt and I simply entertained.
Arriving in SF, we drop off our gear and go STRAIGHT to the party. I mean we didnt even sit down, the cab pulled up just as we were taking off our jacket. Oh by the way, were staying with Ezekiel Canadian Team Rider and good homie Lee Yankou or Yank the Tank, if your having a good time.
Sooo, arriving, looking around - OH its in a airplane hanger and has a huge mini ramp inside, with Bobby Burnquist, TNT, Strubing plus soo many others killing it! Well, lets just say the party was a blur. T.Hawk was there and acclaimed Chris Cole Thrasher's Skater of the Year! Oh PS: This is his second one in the last 5 years. No biggie.

Also they premiere'd the new Prevent a Tragedy Thrasher Video, and it was awesome. I mean can't go wrong with Trapasso, Ethan and Raymond, Baca parts. Ripping. Go buy it, or rent it, or whatever. Just watch it.

Little do I know, were trying to hail a cab and end up stopping a newstruck and convincing him to drive us to the next party.
Were slanging and slinging around in the back and sloshing around, but before we know it, were chanting dudes name of the truck driver and were already there. Thanks dude!
At this point the night gets a bit blurry. All I can remember is the Kim Chee Noodle Soup at 3am, with something random like Jersey Shore on TV or something. Thanks Thrasher Magazine for the invite and thanks Lee for the good times.
