Red Bull Rider Pedro Barros won Bowl-A-Rama in Wellington New Zealand this last weekend, with Red Bull Australia's Corbin Harris placing in 7th also.

Come kick it with Zered Bassett and friends at Mountain Creek on January 23rd for a showcase of Zered photo's from a recent skate trip to Cuba. Due to the embargo in Cuba, it is hard for the local skaters to get product. Zered, Zoo York, Red Bull and Chris Nieratko had a humbling trip experiencing the hardships of Cuba and had an opportunity to give back and brought in over 50 complete skateboards, 150 decks, 100 sets of wheels and 200 pairs of shoes from eS & Vans to some very thankful and deserving kids.
View the trip through Zered's eyes with original photography on display at Mountain Creek for the first time. Head up the mountain for drinks and a look at some of the footage captured by Nieratko during the trip and shred the Red Bull bowl with some of the Zoo York crew.

After the Vans Battle of the Shops a best trick contest was held over the rum barrels. See who rode away with some prize money after a clean switch heel over the barrels!!
This is a awesome contest in Oz! The biggest skaters in Oz all compete for the title of the best territory.

Matt Williams (Stereo Film Staffer) and I ventured up to San Francisco for the famous Skater of the Year party! Rumor's has it that years of SOTY's are around, skating, and having a blast. The trip up was well.. boring. I mean its a 6 hour drive. What are you supposed to do? I did buy some beef jerky, and that did keep Matt and I simply entertained.
Arriving in SF, we drop off our gear and go STRAIGHT to the party. I mean we didnt even sit down, the cab pulled up just as we were taking off our jacket. Oh by the way, were staying with Ezekiel Canadian Team Rider and good homie Lee Yankou or Yank the Tank, if your having a good time.
Sooo, arriving, looking around - OH its in a airplane hanger and has a huge mini ramp inside, with Bobby Burnquist, TNT, Strubing plus soo many others killing it! Well, lets just say the party was a blur. T.Hawk was there and acclaimed Chris Cole Thrasher's Skater of the Year! Oh PS: This is his second one in the last 5 years. No biggie.
Also they premiere'd the new Prevent a Tragedy Thrasher Video, and it was awesome. I mean can't go wrong with Trapasso, Ethan and Raymond, Baca parts. Ripping. Go buy it, or rent it, or whatever. Just watch it.
