Ron Deily
First time I saw Ron Deily at the Sayreville Skatepark, he annoyed me. He kept nollie heel backlipping the flatbar perfectly, over and over; I'm talking bolts every time. I finally said to him, "Hey, we get it. You can do that trick. Enough already." He looked at me confused and said, "No, I think I can do it better." That's Ron in a nutshell: too good to know he's any good at all. When we put him on the NJ Skateshop team, I put my hand on his shoulder like a father would and told him, "You might be a very talented skater, but you better not ever cut that hair. That's all you got going for you." And he hasn't and look at him now-getting all big time. The strength is in the hair. -Chris Nieratko (for www.skateboarding.com )

I just got a blast from Mr. Chris Nieratko from his past trip to Hawaii with the Red Bull Skate Team. He posted a nice wonderful blog on his Skinema Vice.

Apparently he has caused the entire team to have a amazingly great time by singing Karoke, and well.. I suppose thats about it.

RB: (Next day) Ron, interview time! Tell me what was your favorite part of the London time.
RD: Eating baby brains the first nite and puking all over the hotel room
RB: Was was the best Nieratko quote?
RD: 'Ha he was pearl harbored the first night'
RB: What else you working on?
RD: Working on the Zoo vid and a couple different interviews rite meow
RB: Ha, last question. If you could make "relations" with any woman who and why?
RD: Alive or Dead?
RB: Either..
