2004 - Won first at X Games Vert Best Trick (gold), US Skateboarding Champs, West 49 Canadian Open, LG Action Sports Tour in Shanghai China (he won first in all of these!), and ranked first in the entire world in WCS (World Cup Skateboarding) end of year rankings
2005 - Bronze in Vert at X Games, Gold in Vert at Asian X Games, and first in World Championship of Skateboarding (Germany) and Nokia FISE (France)
Sandro Dias Personal History:
Sandro Dias got his first skateboard as a Christmas present in 1986, when he was a little kid in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He entered his first competition at age 8, a street skating event, and won 8th place. Sandro Dias continued to skate and regularly beat out full time skaters, while also working for his father at his mineral extracting road supply company. "I never thought of going pro," Sandro told Redbull.com. "Being a professional came as a consequence of having fun!"
